About SnapACard

I've been making postcards for a lot of years. I started out in direct mail — the business kind, printed by the thousand — and after long enough at that I looked at what was on offer for ordinary people and decided it wasn't what I wanted. So I'm building what I think people are actually going to need. This is the first version of it.

I drive and travel a lot, and I like sending postcards. A physical thing arriving does something a message doesn't. But every time I went looking for a way to send one from the road it meant downloading an app and joining something, and that was always annoying. So I wanted to make it easy. There's no app here and no account to create — take a photo, write your message, put in an address, and we print it and mail it.

Then my sister wanted to make Christmas cards, so we made something for that. Then my wife wanted thank you cards. So now it does all of that.
