Questions about sending a postcard
Turn a photo on your phone into a real postcard, printed and mailed for you. Here is what it costs, how long it takes and how it works.
How much does it cost to send a postcard?
$3.99 for the first postcard, with printing and US postage included. Each additional card in the same order is $3. There is nothing else to pay — no stamps, no shipping charge and no account fee.
How long does it take to arrive?
Most cards arrive within one to two weeks. Printed and mailed within 2–3 business days, then usually 3–10 business days with USPS First-Class Mail, depending on how far it has to travel. A card crossing the country takes longer than one going a few states over, and delivery can run longer around major holidays.
Can I send the same postcard to several people?
Yes. Add as many recipients as you like in the editor, or upload a CSV if you are working from a list. Everyone gets the same photo and message, and you can give each person their own greeting line. Extra cards are $3 each.
What kind of photo works best?
Any photo from your phone works. Landscape and portrait both work — you pick which way the card reads, and we handle the cropping and the print resolution. A bright, in-focus photo with your subject near the middle prints best.
Can I write on the back?
Yes. The back of the card has room for your message, and each recipient can get their own greeting — so the same card can open with “Hi Mom,” for one person and “Hey Dave,” for another. The editor shows you exactly how much text will fit before you pay.
Do I need an account?
No. Upload a photo, write your message, enter the address and pay — that is the whole thing. We email you a confirmation with a link to your card, and there is no password to create or remember.
Can I cancel or change an order after paying?
Email us quickly and we will try. Cards go to our print partner within a couple of business days, and once printing has started we cannot change or stop them. Write to support@snapacard.com with your order reference — it starts with SAC- and is on your confirmation email.
What happens if the address is wrong?
We check each address against USPS records as you type and flag anything that does not match, which catches most mistakes before you pay. If a card still goes to a wrong but deliverable address, it cannot be recalled. Check the street number and ZIP before paying, and email support@snapacard.com straight away if you spot a mistake.
Do you keep my photos?
We store your photo so we can print the card and so the link printed on the back keeps working for whoever receives it. We do not sell photos, share them beyond the print partner who produces your card, or use them to train anything. Email support@snapacard.com if you want a photo and its page removed.
Can other people read my postcard?
Yes — a postcard travels through the mail with nothing over it, so postal staff, a neighbor or whoever brings in the mail can read what you wrote. That is true of every postcard, ours included, so it is worth a thought before you write something you would rather keep between two people. The QR code printed on the back opens a web page with your photo and your message on it, and anyone who has that link can read it too; tick “Don’t show my message on the online copy” in the editor and that page shows the photo on its own. The printed card always shows your message.
Can I send postcards internationally?
Not yet — we mail to addresses in the United States only. International delivery is something we would like to add. If you need it, email support@snapacard.com and say where, because that is how we decide what to build next.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay per card, once, at the time you send it. There is no monthly fee, no minimum order and nothing to cancel.
