Terms
What you are buying, what we will print, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Last updated 3 October 2026
What you are buying
One real 4×6 postcard per recipient, printed with your photo and message and posted by USPS First-Class Mail. You pay once, at checkout, and nothing recurs.
Printed and mailed within 2–3 business days, then usually 3–10 business days with USPS First-Class Mail, depending on how far it has to travel.
That is an estimate, not a promise. First-Class Mail carries no delivery guarantee, and how far the card has to travel changes it by days.
What we'll print, and what we won't
You can send us any photo and message you have the right to use. By placing an order you confirm the photo is yours, or that you have permission to use it, and that the card is not intended to harass, frighten or deceive the person receiving it.
We won't print:
- Sexual content, nudity, or anything sexualizing a minor.
- Threats, harassment, or content intended to intimidate or stalk someone.
- Hate speech, or content attacking people for who they are.
- Graphic violence or gore.
- Content promoting illegal activity.
- Someone else's copyrighted photo or artwork, used without permission.
- Anything impersonating a real person or organization, or made to look like an official notice.
We review orders before printing. We may refuse any order for any reason. If we refuse yours we refund it in full and email you at the address on the order. We don't charge for a refused card.
Illegal material involving children is reported to the authorities as the law requires.
Every photo and message is also screened automatically before a person sees it. The privacy page says who does that screening and what they receive.
Changing or cancelling an order
Write to support@snapacard.com with your order reference before your card goes to the press, and we will cancel it and refund you in full. There is no cancel button — email is the way — and we can see whether a card has gone before we answer you.
After that it cannot be recalled, edited or stopped: it is a physical object in the postal system. How long you have varies — minutes if the automatic screening passes cleanly, longer if the order is waiting for a person to review it — so send the email as soon as you know, rather than waiting to hear back first.
If the card doesn't arrive, or arrives damaged
Write to support@snapacard.com with your order reference within 30 days of your card being posted and we will reprint and resend it once, free, whatever went wrong. You do not have to prove anything, and we are not going to argue about whose fault it was — that includes an address you typed wrong yourself.
Past one free replacement for a card, or past those 30 days, write to us anyway and we will see what we can do. We would rather say that than promise something with no limit on it.
Your content
Your photo and your words stay yours. You give us permission to use them for the one purpose you came here for: printing your card, posting it, showing it to you, and putting it on the share page the printed QR code opens. We do not use your photos to advertise SnapACard.
You are responsible for having the right to send what you send, and for the addresses you give us being ones you are entitled to write to.
Accounts
An account is optional and is just an email address you can prove you read. Keep access to that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
Which law applies, and where a dispute goes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Anything we cannot settle between us goes to the state or federal courts in Palm Beach County, Florida, and we both agree those courts may hear it.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have that cannot be given up under Florida or federal law. Where a term here conflicts with such a right, the right wins.
What we owe you if we get it wrong
If we get something wrong at our end, the most we will owe you is what you paid us for the order it happened on. Beyond that we are not liable for knock-on losses — a birthday missed, a card that arrived after it mattered, an opportunity lost — however they came about.
We will print your card as you approved it and hand it to USPS. What happens after that is the postal system's and we do not control it: we do not promise the mail will be quick, or that this website will never be down or never have a bug in it.
The small print
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms and the privacy page together are the whole agreement between us about SnapACard, and they replace anything said before them.
You cannot hand this agreement to somebody else. We can hand it to whoever takes over the business, if that ever happens. And if we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and an order is governed by the version that was up when you placed it.
